ANDREW J. HALL DIES IN MICHIGAN

Andrew Jackson Hall, 73, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Hoffman, after a long illness.

Mr. Hall was born Sept. 8, 1859, in Weesaw township, the son of Elijah and Rosetta Hamilton Hall, and grew to manhood there, leaving at the age of 22 years and moving to Brooklyn, Ia., where he made his home 52 years. He was a member of the Brethren church at South Brooklyn for many years.

Two and a half years ago he came to Buchanan to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Hoffman at 220 Lake St. Soon after he came here his health began to fail. For the past seven weeks he failed rapidly.

His wife died at Brooklyn 31 years ago. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jane Puderbaugh, of Ozwakie, Kas.; by a brother, Geo. Hall of Brooklyn, Ia.; by two daughter's, Helen Hall of Brooklyn and Mrs. Charles Hoffman of Buchanan; by six sons, Leonard, Clarence, Russell, Lawrence, Orange Hall of Brooklyn, and Earl Hall of Fort Collins, Colo.; also by 14 grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the Hoffman home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Boettcher preaching the funeral sermon and interment was made in Oak Ridge cemetery.--Buchanan, Mich. Paper
