MRS. CARRIE GRINNELL JONES IS BURIED HERE

Interment services are being held in Hazelwood cemetery at 4 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Robert Inglis, for Mrs. Carrie Grinnell Jones, news of whose death has just been received here. Mrs. Jones died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cyrus J. Filton, in Hamilton, Ohio, at the age of 75 years. She was the youngest daughter of Hon. J.B. Grinnell, the founder of this city. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mary Grinnell Mears, who has been prominent in national club work and especially in P.T.A. circles.

Mrs. Jones died some weeks ago. The body was cremated and the ashes were brought here today for burial.

Mrs. Jones graduated from college here in the class of 1880. Her husband, Professor Richard D. Jones, who preceded her in death, graduated here in 1878.
