MRS. AUSTIN R. LEGG

Mrs. Austin R. Legg passed away late Monday evening at her home, 528 Park street, of internal obstruction, after an illness of several months.

Mayme Viola Gwin was born in Albion, Boone county, Nebraska. The family moved, in 1894, to Grinnell, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was united in marriage to Austin R. Legg on September 30, 1909, by Rev. Elias Handy, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, of this place. The funeral services were held at the parental home, 708 Fifth Avenue, conducted by Mr. Handy.

She leaves a bereaved husband, a baby daughter 9 months old, a mother, two brothers and two sisters.
