MR. GRAHAM RITES FRIDAY

Norman Graham, 58, of Rte. 1, Grinnell, died Monday, Nov. 9, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, with Tom Good and Ray Standerwick officiating. Organist will be Margaret Wheeler, and vocalist will be Gordon Van Donselaar. Pallbearers will be Paul Berkenbosch, Gary Milburn, Daryl White, Duane White, Edward White and Warren White.

Graveside rites were conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Santee, pastor of the First Friends Church at Lynnville, with burial in Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville. Memorials may be made to the Lynnville and Oak Grove Friends churches.

The son of Ernest and Irene Brand Graham, he was born on April 24, 1929, in Sully. He attended rural school and graduated from Lynnville High School in 1946.

He was married to Vivian White on Feb. 23, 1950. The couple farmed in the Oak Grove area until 1962, then moved to the Sheridan area to farm. Mr. Graham was employed as a bus driver for the Grinnell-Newburg schools until 1979. The couple then moved to a farm in the Sugar Creek area southwest of Grinnell.

Mr. Graham was a member of the Oak Grove Friends Church and the Poweshiek County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian; three sons, Raymond and James of Grinnell and Kenneth of Center Point; one daughter, Sherry Graham of Grinnell; his parents, Ernest and Irene Graham of Grinnell; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Marilyn Meredith of Grinnell.
