MRS. L.E. GREGSON

Lena Agness Souter was born June 26, 1883, and departed this life Jan. 12, 1917, being at the time of her death 33 years, 6 months, and 22 days of age. She was united in marriage to Leo Edgar Gregson on Feb. 3, 1905. To this union were born six children, Cecil Clifford, Edith Mae, Willard Leo, Fae Lavelle, Opal Louese, Kenneth Wilmer. When about eighteen years of age she gave her heart to God and united with the M.E. church at Ewart. She lived a consistent Christian life, always interested in the things of God's work. She was a loving, kind and affectionate wife and mother, one who put forth every effort to direct those in her care aright. She was not strong and able to attend to the means of grace at all times, but her heart was always filled with love and praise. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, six children, an aged father and two brothers, J.W. and R.H. Souter, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of W.B. Wilson of Grinnell, assisted by Rev. Arms of Ewart, and the remains were laid to rest in the beautiful cemetery at Montezuma.
---
We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their help and kindness during the sickness and death of wife and mother, daughter, and sister.--Leo Edgar Gregson, John Souter, Dr. J.W. Souter, R.H. Souter.
