KING, Mrs. Richard, Lucy Jane, only child of Leroy and Tabitha Ann Shelley b. New Castle, Ind. Nov 7, 1849, d. Oct. 13, 1924. In her childhood came with her parents to a farm near Newton. Her father served in the Civil War. Her mother lived to be 86 and d. Feb. 4, 1910. In 1867 Lucy m. Richard King of Morristown, N.J. They had 5 chil., Mary, Ida, Ella (wife of Rev. John W. Kettle) Deceased, Lucy (Mrs. Byron Partick) and Chas. Leroy who d. 1909. Ob
