FUNERAL SERVICES FOR A.J. MORGAN

Funeral services for A.J. Morgan were held at the home of his sister, Mrs. S.A. Tish at 334 East street, Sunday, August 1, at two o'clock. Services were in charge of Rev. Mr. Smith of Des Moines assisted by J. Owen Smith, also of Des Moines. Interment was made at Hazelwood.

Albion James Morgan, oldest child of Milo Morgan of this city, was the first child born in Lincoln township, Poweshiek County, Iowa, and died at his home in Des Moines, Iowa, July 18th, 1926.

When eighteen years of age he joined the Christian church east of Searsboro. In later life he joined the Adventist Church and died in that belief.

He was married in 1883 to Alice M. Fisher. To them were born four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Ware, Miss Cora Morgan, Mrs. Susie Rogers, all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Eva Coffin of St. Charles, Iowa. Besides his children he leaves ten grandchildren, his aged father, two brothers and five sisters, besides many other relatives and friends.
