SHERMAN BENTON FOUND DEAD SUNDAY AT HOME OF COUSIN

Sherman J. Benton was found dead in his room Sunday morning at the home of his cousin, Guy Benton,1021 Pearl St. He was 54 years old. Mr. Benton was a veteran of World War I. He had made his home here with the Guy Benton family with the exception of a few years at Ft. Meade, S. Dak. Burial will be in Chicago, Ill., his former home. Surviving are his father and two sisters, all of whom live in Chicago. His mother preceded him in death several years ago.
