MRS. BRALEY

Services for Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth Braley, of Oskaloosa, were held at the Garland-van Arkel Funeral Chapel there Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 27, with the Rev. Sylvan Williams officiating. Burial was in the Ewart Cemetery.

Mrs. Braley, 59, died at her home Saturday, Dec. 24.

The daughter of Harry and Alma Benton Gwin, she was born April 19, 1918, at Brooklyn. She was married to Frank W. Braley on July 4, 1936, at Unionville, Mo.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oskaloosa and active in women's church circles. She was a former member of the United Presbyterian Church of Ewart.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; three sons, Ben of Manchester, Mo., Gary of New Brighton, Minn., and Dick of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. George (Pauline) Graham of Sumner, Wash., Mrs. Lucille Lockhart of Des Moines, Mrs. Donald (Cathryn) Souter of Grinnell, Mrs. George (Lillian) Rasmussen of Omaha, Mrs. Dwight (Shirley) Monsma of Altoona; and a brother, Harry Gwin, of Grinnell.
