GRANT REAVIS PASSES AWAY

E. Grant Reavis, a resident most of his life in or near Grinnell, passed away at a hospital Thursday morning at about three o'clock. He was taken to the hospital last Tuesday suffering from the flu and complications. He was aged 63 years.

Mr. Reavis was employed by the city of Grinnell for a long time and recently had been working for the Grinnell Washing machine Corporation.

He is survived by Mrs. Reavis and ten children. They are Theodore, Maurice, Clarence, Glenn, Gertrude, Lela, Wilbur, Russell, George and Wilma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Baptist church conducted by Rev. William Welsh. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery. Please note change of hour.
