AN OBITUARY
OF THE LATE

W.W. STOWE
W.W. Stowe, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Stowe, was born in Easton, N.Y., in 1853 and passed away Nov. 9, 1936, at the age of 83 years. Most of his life was spent in and around Grinnell. He was a mason contractor by trade.
In 1884 he was married to Lucy Manatt, who besides two children and one sister, Mrs. Geo. Sampson, preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his loss, a brother, B.A. Stowe, two grandchildren, Mrs. Ralph Larsen and Mr. Willard Murphy and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Hazelwood cemetery Thursday, Nov. 12, 1936, at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Chas. Rowe, pastor of the Methodist church.
