FRED M. GILBERT OF SCOBEY, MONT., IS BURIED HERE

Funeral services for Fred M. Gilbert of Scobey, Mont., who died in a hospital in Minot, N.Dak., on Friday, Oct. 19, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Smith funeral home in charge of Rev. T.W. Stark. Music was provided by Mrs. Dolph Miller, with Mrs. R.H. Auman as the organist. Pallbearers were Austin Appleby, Jack Clifford, Pete Doud, Herb Hutchison, Jack Preston and Bert Whitaker. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Mr. Gilbert is survived by his wife, two sons, Dale and Paul of Scobey, two daughters, Mrs. Tony Ereth and Mrs. Edgar Richardson of Scobey and two step-children, Harlan Norris Barclay of San Jose, Calif., and Virginia Barclay Dickinson of Los Angeles.
