Montezuma (IA) Republican; Aug. 8, 1894

Word was received here Saturday of the death of John Campbell killed accidentally by the cars at Burlington. His body was brought here Monday for burial. Mr. Campbell was pronounced insane about two months ago and was taken to Mt. Pleasant, to the asylum. He had recovered and was on his way home when the sad accident occurred. He leaves a wife and three small children.
