RALPH H. NORRIS
Ralph Howard Norris, 67, of 433 26th St., NW, Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 26, 1979, at the V.A. hospital, Iowa City, following a long illness.

He was born January 1, 1912 at Montezuma. He attended Brooklyn schools, graduating in 1930. He married Irene Freese September 12, 1933 at Brooklyn and had served in the Navy during World War II. The family moved to Cedar Rapids 20 years ago where he was affiliated with the Carpenters Local No. 308 of Cedar Rapids. He retired after 23 years as a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Gary of Columbus, Ind., and Michael of Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Ina Price of Albuquerque, N.M., Grace Cookston of Elma, Wash., Mary Chapman of Upton, Wyo., Naomi Price of Brooklyn and Lila Johnston of Gering, Nebr.; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Turner Chapel West, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Richard Ernst. Burial was at 1:30 p.m. in the IOOF Cemetery, Brooklyn.
