NORRIS--Died at the home of her parents in south Brooklyn, March 15, 1891, Miss Gracie Deatte Norris, aged 15 years, 5 mo. and 24 days.

The deceased was born in Brooklyn, Sept. 19, 1875. She united with the Dunkard church seven years ago and has lived a consistent christian life, a life of true devotion and devoid of selfishness. Gracie was a bright and winsome child and the grief of the parents over their loss is very keen, but we know that her soul has gone to dwell with Him who redeemed her. The funeral took place Tuesday at the South Side Baptist church, conducted by Rev. S.H. Bashor, after which the remains were interred in the Brooklyn cemetery. A very large company attended the funeral, showing thereby evidence of their respect to the dead and their sympathy for the bereaved parents. The pall bearers were Misses Genie Milligan, Mary Goff, Jennie Bauer, Gracie Hinds, Nora Kilmer and Ollie Razey.
