Lethe Genia Veve, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Norris died of lung fever Sunday March 1st, 1896, aged 4 mo. and 15 days. The funeral took place Monday, March 2, at the Brethren Church, conducted by Rev. C. Forney after which the remains were laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in the midst of the falling snow.

Lethe Genia Veve how lonely we are;
Your place is now vacant at home.
But, baby your pain is all gone,
You will never be sick any more.
My dear little child, so lovely and mild.
How short was the stay with us here;
But soon we shall meet in that land so sweet,
Where none ever more will depart.
