POWERS-HOWARD

The little god Cupid got busy once more in the ranks of the telephone girls, when, last Thursday, Miss Ella Powers went to Boone and was married to Walter Howard, a Grinnell boy who is working as a brakeman with headquarters at that place. Mrs. Howard is still continuing her duties at the telephone exchange, but goes to Boone in about two weeks to make her home. Mr. Howard, it will be remembered was very ill with appendicitis at the Grinnell hospital recently but is now fully recovered.

The home of the bride was in Lincoln until she came to Grinnell to work in the telephone office.
