ROMIG-SCHULTZE

An impressive and pretty wedding took place at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. W.H. Romig, 918 Chatterton street, when her daughter, Alice Charlotte, and Mr. Frederick Louis Schultze of New York City were united in marriage. The Rev. E.W. Cross of the Congregational church read the Moravian single ring service in the presence of about twenty guests. As Miss Ruth Romig, sister of the bride, played Mendelssohn's wedding march, the bridal couple, preceded by Mr. Cross, entered the parlors and took their places, unattended beneath a bower of smilax and pink and white asters. Following the congratulations a four course luncheon was served by the Misses Ruth Romig and Mabel Wesco. The bride was beautifully gowned in white crepe de chine and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. Her only ornament was a pendant of platinum set with tourmalines, the gift of the groom. The home had been artistically decorated with autumn flowers, pink and white being the color scheme used. The bride has made Grinnell her home only a short time, as she has been supervisor of domestic arts at Easton, Pa., but her sweet womanliness has made for her many friends. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. A. Schultze of Bethlehem, Pa. Dr. Schultze is the president of the Moravian College and Theological seminary located at that place. Mr. Schultze has a good position in New York City with the Kelly & Jones Manufacturing company. Mr. and Mrs. Schultze left Tuesday night for points in the east and will be at home at 136 Sixth avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y., after Nov. 1.
