HOLMES-BARNS

At the home of the bride's father Mr. C.A. *Barns in Chester township at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Floyd Holmes and Miss Eunice Barns were united in marriage, the Rev. C.L. Hammond of Gilman performing the ceremony.

It was a quiet family wedding, no guests being present.

Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom drove to Newburg and surprised another bridal party by the announcement of their previous marriage.

The groom is well known in the community, and is a splendid young man. The bride is one of our best young ladies. Their friends rejoice in their happy marriage.

Mr. and Mrs. Holmes will live on the E.M. McCoy farm near Kellogg where they will be at home to their many friends.

*Barns also seen spelled Barnes
