LOCAL NEWS

Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Triplett and Mr. Triplett's brother of Brooklyn, returned Friday from their trip through the east. On their way home they stopped at Princeton, Illinois to visit Mr. Triplett's aunt, who would have 97 her next birthday. They left the aunt, Margaret Shepherd, at 9 o'clock Friday morning and upon arriving home they found a telegram stating that she had died at 1 o'clock p.m. Friday. Mr. Triplett and his brother from Brooklyn drove back to Princeton Monday morning to attend the funeral that afternoon. While on the eastern trip., Mr. Triplett visited one aunt, 78, and an uncle 86, and another aunt whom he had not seen since the close of the Civil War who is 88.
