MAN OF MANY ALIASES
ARRESTED IN KANSAS

Montezuma, Iowa, July 3,--Charles Yeo, alias George Smith and A.L. Lamburt has been arrested in Wichita, Kansas, for the theft of the Tom Wolfe Ford coupe from Deep River, May 29th. Deputy Sheriff Bob Gregson and Tom Wolfe have gone there to return with the prisoner and the automobile.

Yeo stole the car and started south. He was traced to Sigourney, where he had the car repaired, leaving the Ford garage with the bill unpaid. He was next heard of at Kansas City, traced there by some mail, sent out of Deep River. He passed himself off as an I.O.O.F. worker.

Bob Gregson has been on a still hunt for Yeo for the past few weeks and has been on the job, and it was through his efforts that Yeo will be brought back to stand trial for the theft. Bob on hearing of the theft got busy. He burned up the wires and wrote hundreds of post cards and at last his efforts were crowned with success.

Yeo had stated that Gregson could not get him, and that he had better look out. Bob did, he looked until he found him. When Yeo reached Wichita he changed his name to Smith and sold the car. However, the car will be recovered.--Montezuma Republican.
