Professor Edward B. Scheve is hard at work on his oratorio, "The Death and Resurrection of Christ," which is being published by a Berlin house. It is this composition which is to be produced with a large orchestra and chorus in Berlin next summer. Professor Scheve recently had word that a rehearsal of the large number of united choirs of Berlin, which will compose the chorus, was held and that it showed that their work was progressing nicely. Grinnell people are deeply interested in the success of this work and there are a few who expect to hear it in Berlin next summer. Others will rejoice that there is a possibility of its being produced here in the spring provided the publication is completed in time.--Scarlet and Black.
