LT. GEO. N. LARSEN
IS REPORTED AS
MISSING IN ACTION

Charles Postma of Deep River received a telegram Thursday from the war department addressed to Mrs. Wilma Larsen, his wife, that Lieutenant George N. Larsen was reported missing in action over Europe. No other details were given. Mrs. Larsen has been visiting in Oelwein and was not immediately informed of the sad news. Lietu. Larsen has been missing since, October 4th.

The telegram was brought here and given to Mrs. Leo Evans, Lt. Larsen's sister.

Lieut. Larsen is 23 years of age and besides Mrs. Larsen has a three year old daughter. Before entering the air service he was employed in Grinnell. His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Larsen, have three sons and six daughters. One brother, Ludwig, is also in the service, being in the army.--Montezuma Republican.
