PATTY SPOONER FETED
AT SHOWER JULY 26

Miss Patty Spooner was honored at a bridal shower on Friday, July 26. Mrs. George A. Brown and Diane were hostesses to 36 friends and relatives of Miss Spooner.

During the evening several gamers were played with Mesdames Donovan Evans, Warren Ryan and L.J. Duey winning prizes.

Miss Spooner opened her many lovely gifts at a table centered with a bride doll, dressed appropriately.

Refreshments which carried out the bride's chosen colors of pink and white were served to guests from Grinnell, Brooklyn, Barnes City, Oskaloosa and Des Moines.

Miss Spooner will marry Paul Fraker of Brooklyn on Saturday, August 10.
