SPOONER-STAGE

Miss Mabel Spooner and Cecil K. Stage stole a march on all their friends when they were married last Wednesday morning at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. George Spooner, on Broad street. Rev. J.M,. Brown performed the ceremony. Both young people are well known and liked. Mr. Stage, whose home is in Sibley, Iowa, has been a student for several years in the Grinnell School of Music and has made an enviable record as director of the college band. His bride is a young woman of many fine qualities. The friends of both lost no time in extending congratulations as soon as opportunity was given. Mr. and Mrs. Stage will probably be in Grinnell most of the summer.
