FORMER RESIDENT IS
DEAD IN AUTO CRASH

Mrs. Philip Boucher, 44, of Roswell, N.M ., the former Jane Korns and daughter of T.T. Korns of Brooklyn, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Boucher of Mesa, Ariz., were killed Sunday in an automobile accident near Carlsbad, N.M. Accident details were not available.

Funeral services are pending at Mesa, Ariz., awaiting the arrival of Philip Boucher, the dead woman's husband, from Christmas Island in the Pacific.

It was learned here that the two women had planned a weekend trip to Carlsbad and apparently were enroute to Roswell when the accident occurred. The elderly Mrs. Boucher was visiting her daughter-in-law while her son was on duty in the Pacific.

Mr. and Mrs. T.T. Korns were unable to make the trip to Arizona due to the ill health of Mr. Korns. Mrs. Coe Manatt, an aunt of Mrs. Philip Boucher, left Tuesday via plane for Mesa. She was accompanied by Mrs. J.W. Barclay.
