DIVORCE CASES FILED

Two new divorce petitions were filed at the office of Clerk of Court C.E. Dexter at Montezuma last week.

Birdie E. Kann of Brooklyn filed suit against Jerald Kann, asking that a divorce be granted to her on grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. According to the petition, the couple were married at Brooklyn, Feb. 7, 1943.

Lewis H. Buckley asks the court to grant him a divorce from Kathleen G. Buckley, of Keokuk county, on grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment, in a petition filed last week. According to the petition, they were married at Kalona, June 18, 1939, and lived together at Sigourney until Dec. 14, 1942.
