Case Arises As Result
Of Truck-Auto Collision
On Montezuma Street

A charge of driving while intoxicated was transferred to district court last week, after Fay Agnew, Poweshiek county farmer of south of Malcom, waived to the grand jury on the charge. Preliminary hearing was held in the court of H.E. Bryan, Montezuma justice of peace. Mr. Agnew furnished appearance bond, set at $500.

The charge was filed following an accident several weeks ago in which a car alledgedly driven by Mr. Agnew collided with a truck in Montezuma.
