CLASS REUNION - '19.

The class of 1919 of Grinnell High School still show their class spirit in annual reunion held during the holidays each year. The reunion has always been held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Talbott until this year it was decided to hold the fifth reunion in Henely Gym. Mr. and Mrs. Talbott were guests of the class. There were seventy-five in the class but they are now scattered to all parts of the world and only one third of the original number were able to be present. Telegrams were sent from some of the members and many letters of greeting were received. Eleanor Palmer who is in California sent a telegram and Stanley Talbott of Schenectady, N.Y. also sent one. A letter was sent by Keith Burton from the Philippines. Ruth Raffety was elected chairman of the committee for next year's reunion and she chose Gould Lowrey, Edward Sears, Forrest King, and Miss Rule as her assistants.

Those who were present were: Mr. and Mrs. Guy Nichols, Mr. Henely, Miss Fisher, Miss McIlrath, Miss Rule, Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Talbott, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Evans, Louise McDonald, Mildred See, Edward Sears, Waldon Edwards, Alfred Bonyata, Ruth Raffety, Gould Lowrey, Mina Adkins, Mabel Wesco, Florence Johnson Plum, Grace Kutish and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pottle.
