FIREMEN PUT OUT
WEDNESDAY BLAZE
AT SALYERS HOME

A fire in the attic of the Roscoe Salyers residence at 318 Broad Street brought Grinnell firemen to the scene shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Blaze was promptly extinguished, although minor damage was caused. Salyers told firemen the fire started that morning and he thought he had it put out. However, some of the burning material apparently fell between the wall of the frame structure.
