TWO BAD RUNAWAYS.

There have been two runaways in the last twenty-four hours resulting in more or less serious injuries. Last evening the team belonging to Chris. Vogt became frightened on Main St., and ran into the buggy belonging to Harrison Lewis, throwing the latter out on his head and wrecking the buggy. At last reports Mr. Lewis was still unconscious from the fall.

This morning about half past seven while A.A. Foster was driving across the Rock Island tracks on Main St., his team turned up the embankment towards the elevator over turning the buggy and throwing Mr. Foster and Mr. Botson of Colfax who is visiting his sister, Mrs. H.A. Steele of 1215 Spring St., and who was riding with him, into the top of the buggy where they were dragged as far as Grant Inman's planning mill. Both were considerably bruised and jarred but fortunately not seriously injured.
