MISS MABEL PLUM IS BRIDE
OF RAYMOND ZIEGENMEYER

In an informal home setting on Christmas eve, Miss Mabel Plum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron A. Plum of Grinnell, became the bride of Raymond Ziegenmeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto T. Ziegenmeyer, also of Grinnell. In the presence of a small group of guests, the Rev. C.D. Loose, pastor of the First Methodist church, read the single ring nuptial service at 7:30 o'clock. The Plum home was effectively decorated in keeping with the yuletide season.

The bride's street length frock was of dusty rose wool and her flowers were a corsage of pink roses and baby breath. Following her graduation from the Grinnell High school, Mrs. Ziegenmeyer was engaged in stenographic work for one year at the Grinnell Shoe factory. More recently she has been employed at the Iowa Telephone and Telegraph company.

Mr. Ziegenmeyer, who is also a graduate of the Grinnell High school, is now employed at the Ordnance plant in Ankeny.

Following the ceremony, refreshments were served consisting of ice cream, frozen with tiny pink bells, bride's cake, mints and coffee.

The couple were guests Christmas day in the home of Mr. Ziegenmeyer's parents and left that evening for Des Moines where they are making their home.

Guests at the wedding were the parents of both bride and bridegroom, also Mrs. E.M. Johnson, Glenn Johnson, Miss Hattie Johnson, Charles Ziegenmeyer, Mrs. Vera Ziegenmeyer, Rev. and Mrs. C.D. Loose and Miss Wilma Rayburn.
