PAULINE MANSON WEDS MINNESOTA MAN

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Pauline Manson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Manson of this city, to Mr. Clifford Comstock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Comstock of Jackson, Minn., which took place Tuesday evening at the Congregational parsonage in Newton, Rev. George C. Williams officiating. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Patterson of Newton. Mrs. Patterson is a sister of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Comstock will leave Saturday for Jackson, Minn., where both will enter the University. Mrs. Comstock will begin her senior year in the college of liberal arts and Mr. Comstock, who graduated from Grinnell College last June will begin work on his M.A. degree. Mrs. Comstock will return to Grinnell for the second semester to conclude her college work and receive her degree here.

Mrs. Comstock is well known in college and business circles here. Since her graduation from high school in 1924 she has been an assistant in the office of Mehlin & Clindinin.

Mr. and Mrs. Comstock were complimented at a dinner courtesy given Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Patterson in Newton and Wednesday evening Mrs. Comstock was honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. Howard Patterson at Newton. The guest list included a number of former Grinnell girls who are now living in Newton: Bernice Adkins Ogg, Mabel Neely Raver, Eva Beeler McLain, Obera Shaw Parker, Mrs. John Carrier, Mrs. Edgar Sabin, Mrs. John Patterson, Mrs. A.B. Manson of Grinnell and Mrs. R.H. Auman of Des Moines.
