MISCELLANEOUS SHOWER
FOR MISS MYRTLE HOCKETT

Mrs. Amos Gilbert and daughter, Lucille, entertained a company of friends Saturday afternoon at a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Myrtle Hockett, whose wedding to Mr. Lloyd Gilbert will be an event of Nov. 29. The party was held at the home of Miss Hockett.

The afternoon was spent with games, giving advice to the bride-to-be, and giving her their favorite recipes. A box was delivered by parcel post to Miss Hockett. When unwrapped and displayed there were many lovely and useful gifts. At the close of the afternoon the hostess served refreshments of ice cream and wafers.

Those present were: Mrs. J.L. Hockett and daughter, Bernice, Mrs. Helen Talbert and daughter, Faye, Mrs. Harrison Fleener, Mrs. Verna Wells, Mrs. Annie Coop, Mrs. Lizzie Appleby, Mrs. Russell Evans, Mrs. Raymond Gilbert, Geraldine and Richard, Miss Edith Alexander, Miss Juanita Evans, Harry Gilbert, Mrs. Will Schooley and daughter, Anna Mae, the guest of honor and the hostesses.
