The Grinnell Herald; Feb. 20, 1934

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McClain returned to Grinnell the latter part of last week. They have been spending the winter with their daughter, Mrs. Cecil Boyle, at Dearborn, Mich. The weather in Michigan was the coldest this year it has been for fifty-nine years. On their way home they stopped in Chicago and visited their grandchildren and daughter-in-law. They are glad to be home again and certainly appreciate Mrs. Coop and Mrs. Wells preparing the home for their return.
