SWALLOWED STRYCHNINE
-------------------------------------
Two Year Old Son of Malcom People Narrowly Escapes Death.

Richard, two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Buck, living west of town, while playing in the yard Monday morning, found a bottle of strychnine and consumed part of its contents. The little fellow was saved from death by the quick action of Dr. Wilcox who was summoned immediately and administered an antidote in ten minutes after the child had swallowed the deadly poison. Where the bottle came from is a mystery as Mr. Buck states they have never had any of the poison in their possession. The little fellow is getting along nicely and will recover.--Malcom Leader.
