Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents in LaPorte occurred the marriage of Mr. John Norris and Miss Vera Shayer (Shroyer). Only immediate relatives were present.

The bride was attired in beautiful silver grey silk, while the groom wore the conventional color. The happy young couple will be at home after this week in the McIlrath property in the south part of Montezuma.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Norris, highly respected residents of this city, and is well and favorably known by a large number of acquaintances. The bride resided in this city for a time some months ago. The best wishes of all go with the young couple in their journey through life.
