Only the immediate families of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony. Following the service the wedding party were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Peters at a wedding breakfast served at the hotel. The parents of the bride and groom and the bride and groom drove to Newton early Wednesday morning and returned the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peters drove to Moline, in Mr. Peter's car where they will remain for about two weeks visiting with friends and relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Peters are well and favorably known in Grinnell, both having lived here all their lives. Mr. Peters is the senior member of the firm of Peters & Keenan, radiator repair men and has his shop at 602 Main street. He is a capable workman and success will crown his efforts.
