MONTEZUMA PEOPLE HURT IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Mr. and Mrs. George Eichhorn and Mrs. Mary Carr are in the hospital at Albia, Iowa, as a result of icy roads. They started to California last Friday morning, the roads being very slippery, Mr. Eichhorn lost control of his car, demolishing his Oldsmobile 88. Mrs. Carr was the most seriously injured, having three broken ribs and bruises, Mrs. Eichhorn received a bad cut on her leg and Mr. Eichhorn a neck injury. Mr. Eichhorn hit a bridge, breaking through the guard rail and landing upside down in the creek bed. Mrs. Eichhorn was given a blood transfusion, having lost so much blood from the deep cut on her leg.
