MARILYN TORRANCE WED IN TEXAS

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Torrance of 4863 Lake Park avenue, Chicago, formerly of Grinnell, announce the marriage of their daughter, Marilyn, to Yeoman 1/c William Landon, 4th son of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Landon,(???) of Mountain Lake, Md. The ceremony took place Tuesday, May 15, at the First Presbyterian church, Galveston, Texas.

After a few days in Galveston, the bridegroom returned to sea duty and the bride left for Maryland to remain with his parents. Mrs. Landon was graduted from Grinnell high school in 1944 and taught a Poweshiek rural school for a few months.
