HOELZLE-SIMPSON

Maxine Lucille Hoelzle of Des Moines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Hoelzle of Montezuma and William C. Simpson of Des Moines, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Simpson of Montezuma, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon, November 23, at 2:20 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson in Des Moines. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Knight of the Des Moines Highland Christian Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cover of Perry, who attended A.I.B. with the bride and groom, served as best man and matron of honor.

The bride wore a medium navy blue suit with black accessories and a corsage of deep red roses. Mrs. Cover, matron of honor, was attired in a grey suit with black accessories and wore a corsage of pink tea roses.

A reception following the ceremony was held for the close friends and relatives.

The bride graduated from the Montezuma high school with the 1946 class and attended A.I.B. for a short time. She is now employed with the Etena Casualty Life Insurance company in Des Moines.

The groom graduated with the class of 1944 from the Montezuma high school and served two and one-half years in the Navy. He attended A.I.B. for nine months and is working in the office of the Herron and Whistler Company in Des Moines.

After a brief honeymoon Mr. adn Mrs. William C. Simpson will be at home at 3905 East 8th St., Des Moines.

The Republican wishes to congratulate the newlyweds along with numerous friends and relatives in this community.
