SMITH-PIMLOTT

Miss Lucille Smith and Lewis Pimlott, both of Brooklyn, were united in marraige at the M.E. parsonage at Anamosa Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 21, at 2:30 o'clock. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. H.D. Green, pastor of the M.E. church. The couple were attended by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith. Other witnesses of the ceremony included Amos, Floyd and Cleo Smith of Brooklyn and Mable Jones of Grinnell. Following the ceremony, a 6:00 wedding dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Headley.

The bride was attired in a light blue silk dress. The groom wore a brown serge suit.

The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith of Brooklyn and graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1934. Since that time she has been at the home of her parents, but since May has been employed in Anamosa.

The groom is the son of Ralph Pimlott of Georgetown, Ky., but for a good many years has made his home in Brooklyn with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Pimlott.

The young couple will make their home in Anamosa where Mr. Pimlott is employed at the Milling Co. Their many friends wish them much happiness.

Many lovely and useful gifts were received by the couple.
