WAS BADLY CUT

Charley Barnhart, employed at the Dickerson garage, suffered several serious cuts and lacerations around the head Friday afternoon when a fan wheel on a Nash car broke. He and Bert Dickerson were working on the car when the fan few to pieces without any warnings.

His throat was badly cut, a cut on the point of the chin took away a piece of the bone and several bad gashes were suffered around his face.

He was taken to his home for treatment and was reported as feeling some better yesterday. An x-ray is to be taken this afternoon to determine whether there might be any small pieces of the aluminum wheel imbedded in his face or any possible fracture of the jaw bone.
