ROY E. GOUGHNOUR TAKES AIR RESERVE REFRESHER COURSE
Roy E. Goughnour, First Lieutenant, Air Reserve, who resides at 1518 Third avenue, has reported to the Topeka, Kan., Army Air Field for a 15-day refresher course, according to an announcement by Col. George F. Kinzie, who commands the Reserve Training Detachment at Topeka.
Approximately 250 officers and enlisted men are attending this training camp of which a total of eight periods were planned between July 5, 1947, and Oct. 25, 1947. The present camp is the eighth and last.
Lieutenant Goughnour attended Grinnell high school. He also attended Grinnell college one year. He entered the service Jan. 30, 1943, and was commissioned Feb. 8, 1944, as a pilot. He was relieved from active duty Dec 26, 1945.
