Mrs. H.F. Booknau reports that thieves attempted to enter her home on Summer street on Wednesday night. The screens on two doors were discoverred cut the next morning and the lock on the back door had been tampered with. This is a warning for those who do not lock their doors to do so. It is quite evident that the crime wave is not confined to the larger cities.
