SCOUTS HONOR JERRY TEW

A new flagpole will be dedicated Saturday at Camp Mitigwa near Boone in honor of Pfc. Jerry Tew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Tew of Grinnell.

Pvt. Tew was killed in Vietnam last October.

The flagpole will be dedicated on Frankle Ridge at Mitigwa. Ceremonies will be conducted by the Order of the Arrow of the Mid-Iowa Council of Boy Scouts.

Pfc. Tew was himself a Scout, and his father has served for many years in local Scout organizations.
