MARRIED
CONNELL-ROHRER

Miss Pauline Connell, daughter of Glenn Connell of Brooklyn, and Rex Rohrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Rohrer of Victor, were married at the Methodist parsonage in Iowa City at 7:30 p.m. on April 13, 1940.

The Rev. Edwin Voyt officiated and Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Connell of Brooklyn were the attendants.

The bride wore a navy blue suit with white accessories. She graduated from B.H.S. in 1935 and from the Iowa State School of Beauty Culture in Des Moines in 1936. Following her graduation she worked in Victor for a year and a half and for the past year has been an operator in the Wonder Beauty Shop in Davenport.

The groom is a graduate of the Victor High School and has lived in that community most of his life.

After June 1st the young couple will be at home in Postville, where Mr. Rohrer will have charge of a roller skating rink.
