BEELER-WELLS

A beautiful home wedding took place, Wednesday, December 22, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Beeler, when their daughter, Lela, was married to Mr. Frank Wells, of near Montezuma, by Rev. C.L. Rubottom, pastor of the Ewart M.E. church.

The home was beautifully decorated with the prevailing color scheme of blue and white.

At the appointed hour, six o'clock, to the sweet strains of the wedding march, on the piano by Myrtle Fleener, the bridal couple took their places and were united with the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony of the Methodist Episcopal church.

Mr. and Mrs. Wells received showers of congratulations, after which the guests were served with a delightful luncheon in courses, served by Mrs. Alda Thompson, Mrs. Myrtle Fleener, Mrs. Ida Bryan, Mrs. Lora Goreham, and Miss Lela Mann.

The bride was dressed in a beautiful gown of pale blue silk and carried a lovely bridal bouquet.

They were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts, presented by admiring friends and relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wells will visit a few days with relatives in Des Moines. They will be at home after March 1 on the Press Lambert farm.
