NORRIS-MOOTS

An August marriage of particular interest to Grinnell people was that of Miss Katherine Norris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Norris, and Mr. Charles H. Moots which was solemnized at the Chester church parsonage Sunday morning at nine o'clock. Rev. H.L. Wissler, pastor of the Chester church performed the ceremony.

The bride and groom, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. John Rohr, left immeditely after the ceremony for Kirksville, Missouri where they will visit with relatives of Mr. Moots. They will return to Grinnell in about a week and will be at home on the Rohr farm where the groom has been employed for the last two years.

Mrs. Moots is a young lady of talent and ability. She graduated from Grinnell high school and later attended Brown's Business College at Davenport, graduating in 1921. For the past two years she has been employed as stenographer and clerk in Shifflett law offices where she has been a valued assistant to Mr. Shifflett.

Mr. Moots came to Grinnell from Kirksville six years ago. He worked on the Charles Rohr farm near here for several years but more recently has been employed by John Rohr of the Chester neighborhood. He is a progressive young farmer and is respected by all who know him.
