SURPRISE WEDDING
Prominent Young People Quietly United for Life's Journey.

On Wednesday evening, January 7th, 1914, Mr. Harry Tish and Miss Delima Thompson, both of North Union township surprised their many friends by quietly driving to the home of their pastor, Rev. E.W. Gregson, who said the words that united them in the holy bonds of wedlock.

They were accompanied by Mr. Howard Thompson, brother of the bride, and Miss Sylvia Tish, cousin of the groom, as witnesses.

Mr. and Mrs. Tish are two of Union township's best young people, the groom being the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Tish, and the bride the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson.

Both are active members of the Little Mount Baptist church, where the bride has proved herself a very proficient and earnest Sabbath school teacher.

The bride was attired in white silk crepe de chine, with an overlace drapery studded with pearls, held in place by bridal roses. The groom wore conventional black.

They will be at home to their friends after February 1st, on a farm near his father's, which place the groom had in readiness, he being a successful young farmer.

Their many friends and neighbors join in wishing for them a happy and prosperous future.--A Reader.
